West Hempstead 27, Island Trees 13: A'Lorenz Chatman ran for 73 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries, Jonathan Balthazard had 101 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries and Corey Pierre ran for 70 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries to lead No. 3 West Hempstead over No. 6 Island Trees (5-4) in a Nassau IV quarterfinal. Island Trees scored an early touchdown after a blocked punt before West Hempstead scored the games next three touchdowns. Niko Adikemakis recovered an onside kick attempt before Chatman sealed the win with a 30-yard touchdown run. Jurrel Hall had two interceptions.
