Mepham 14, MacArthur 7: Dominic Novello scored the winning touchdown from a yard-out with 1 second remaining to lead No. 2 Mepham over No. 7 MacArthur in a Nassau II quarterfinal. Novello ran for 182 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries, including a 50-yard touchdown run in the first. Mepham (8-1) had three interceptions, including two by Steven Mulqueen. Mepham will play the winner of No. 3 Long Beach/No. 6 New Hyde Park in a semifinal Nov. 11 at Hofstra.
