Long Island Lutheran 49, Fieldston 14: Anthony Valdez rushed for 217 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries in No. 3 LuHi's win over No. 6 Fieldston in the Metropolitan Independent Football League Quarterfinals. His 47-yard touchdown in the third quarter gave LuHi a 34-7 lead T.J. Bacon caught five passes for 55 yards and two touchdowns and Jacob Butler caught three passes for 15 yards for LuHi (7-1). LuHi will face Rye Country Day School 1:30 p.m. on Friday in the Metropolitan Independent Football League semifinals.
