Long Island Lutheran 28, Pingry 20: Defensive tackle Mario Diaz forced a fumble that Lorenzo Riddick returned 70 yards for a touchdown to give Long Island Lutheran a 21-20 lead in the third quarter of the Metropolitan Independent Football League win. Trey Leandre added a 25-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth to ice the victory. Anthony Valdez rushed for 124 yards and a 4-yard touchdown on 25 carries. Leandre rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown on nine carries and threw for another touchdown. T.J. Bacon caught three passes for 45 yards and a touchdown for Long Island Lutheran (3-1).
