Freeport 22, Syosset 21: Martese Davenport rushed for a 1-yard touchdown and Nazair Jean-Lubin found Javon Edwards on the ensuing two-point conversion for the game's final points with 9:23 left in the fourth quarter as Freeport defeated Syosset, 22-21, in Nassau Conference I football action on Saturday. D'Angelo Gordon rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries and completed 6 of 11 passes for 120 yards. He found his brother, Jayden, for a 38-yard touchdown pass and D'Angelo Gordon rushed in the ensuing two-point conversion to tie the score at 14 with 5:30 left in the third quarter. Jayden Gordon had four receptions for 111 yards. Michael Ricciuto had an 8-yard touchdown run to give Syosset a 21-14 lead with 11:50 left in the fourth quarter, about two minutes before Freeport's winning score. Davenport rushed for 99 yards on 15 carries and Jason Pennix had two sacks.
