Long Beach 48, Bellmore JFK 32: Long Beach built a 35-6 lead in the third quarter of the Nassau II win thanks, in part, to two touchdown passes by Jeff Conway. Conway found Jack Skarren for a 30-yard touchdown in the first quarter and Juke Hartman for a 4-yarder in the second quarter. Conway also ran for an 11-yard touchdown in the third quarter to give Long Beach a 26-6 lead. Jack Miller scored a 37-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter and returned a kickoff 69 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Long Beach (4-1) forced four turnovers.
