Wantagh 35, New Hyde Park 12: Vinny Vasheo returned a punt and a kick for touchdowns and rushed for one touchdown and 101 yards on 14 carries to lead Wantagh (1-0) in the Conference II win. Rob Tucker was 5-for-7 with 70 passing yards and ran once for 10 yards. Bruno Surace had one touchdown and 37 yards on seven carries. He also caught one pass for 38 yards. Dylan Beckwith returned a kick 85 yards for a touchdown and had one interception.
