Island Trees 32, Mineola 27: Nick Filocamo rushed in a 2-yard touchdown for the game's final score in the fourth quarter as Island Trees defeated Mineola, 32-27, in Nassau Conference IV football. Mike Coppeto rushed for 227 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries and added five receptions for 37 yards, including a 10-yard touchdown reception for Island Trees in Nassau IV. His 10-yard touchdown reception from Nick Saragossi tied the score at 20 for Island Trees. Coppeto followed with a 39-yard touchdown run to give Island Trees a 26-20 lead in the third quarter. Saragossi completed 5 of 7 passes for 51 yards and a touchdown and added 25 rushing yards. Danny Zamroz had nine tackles, including a sack. Matt Norberg added four tackles, including two sacks with one coming on the final drive of the game.
