East Rockaway 47, Carle Place/Wheatley 21: John Giannotti rushed for 142 and three touchdowns on eight carries in Nassau IV. Giannotti's 13 and a 5-yard touchdown runs, in addition to his two two-point-conversion runs, helped East Rockaway build a 24-7 lead in the first quarter. Giannotti also had 78-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Lucas Cortazar rushed for 91 yards on eight carries. East Rockaway (1-1) ran for 449 yards as a team. Colin Sharkey and Devin Hickam both had interceptions and Chase Vertucci had a sack.
