HIGHLIGHTS
Valley Stream North 26, Division 21: Isaiah Walsh ran for 86 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries to lead Valley Stream North in its Conference III opener. Walsh's 20-yard touchdown run with 2:50 remaining in the fourth quarter proved to be the winning score. Division closed within 26-21 with two minutes remaining after Jay Vanasco scored on a 50-yard pass from Dylan Gruber. Vanasco finished the game with eight catches for 179 yards and two touchdowns. Division attempted an onside kick but it was recovered by Eric Aumuller of Valley Stream North. The Spartans were able to get a first down behind the running of Walsh and run out the clock.
