Patchogue-Medford 29, Brentwood 16: Kieran Hughes threw three of his four touchdown passes as Patchogue-Medford rallied from a 10-point deficit by scoring the game's final 23 points for a Suffolk I road victory. The Raiders (2-2) broke away from a 16-16 tie in the fourth quarter as Hughes threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to C.J. Forgione, his second TD catch, and a 30-yard scoring strike to Jayden Isselbacher. Brentwood (1-3) took a 7-6 lead on Malachi Baker's 18-yard touchdown run and extended it to 16-6 in the second quarter when Chris Ayala returned a fumble 55 yards for a touchdown and Joshua Almendarez made a 29-yard field goal. The Raider comeback started with a 45-yard touchdown pass from Hughes to Justin Marcia-Joachim to make it 16-14 at the half. They evened the score in the third quarter when Anthony Jean-Baptiste made a tackle in the end zone for a safety. Hughes finished with 220 passing yards, Marcia-Joachim had three catches for 115 yards, Jesse Andrade had 10 tackles and Alex Hofmann had a sack, a fumble recovery and three tackles in the backfield for Patchogue-Medford.
