Ward Melville 41, Commack 21: Nick Gaffney rushed for 151 yards on 24 carries and two touchdowns in Suffolk I. Brody Morgan had an interception in the fourth quarter and three touchback kickoffs for Ward Melville (2-1). Morgan also had two 25-yard kick returns and seven catches for 87 yards. Lorenzo Velez made six catches for 152 yards and two touchdowns. Andrew Belli completed 17 of 29 passes for 310 yards for four touchdowns and an interception, and added 36 yards rushing. Jeremy Weiss threw two touchdown passes in the second half for Commack (1-2).
