HIGHLIGHTS
Ryan Filipi's 10-yard touchdown pass to Ciaran Laffey with 1:10 left in the fourth quarter, followed by an extra point from Daniel Owens, lifted Port Jefferson over Mount Sinai, 13-12, in Suffolk IV Saturday. Filipi was 9-for-14 passing for 106 yards. Anthony Pipia had eight carries for 104 yards and one touchdown for Port Jefferson (1-1). Pipia also made 10.5 tackles and Kendry Rodriguez had 10 tackles and two sacks. Mt. Sinai played without eight players who were suspended for their roles in a fight at the end of their Week 1 game against Bayport - Blue Point.
