Whitman 28, Brentwood 6: J.T Taylor completed 16 of 21 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns in Suffolk I. He also rushed for another touchdown. Taylor's 32-yard touchdown pass to Jason Burke and 1-yard touchdown run helped Whitman build a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. Burke made three catches for 99 yards and a touchdown. J.D Harrison made six catches for 73 yards. JT. Villiella caught a 5-yard touchdown pass from Taylor in the second quarter to give Whitman a 20-0 lead. Jacob Somer made 10 tackles, including four for a loss. Luis Navarro made 10 tackles, including six for a loss, and Xavier Ali made seven tackles, including three for a loss for Whitman (1-1).
