Islip 35, Comsewogue 28: Matt Ferraro's 54 yard touchdown catch from Joey Vitale with 57 seconds left in the fourth quarter gave Islip (1-0) a 35-28 lead after they scored 22 consecutive points in Suffolk III. Ferraro then sealed the win with an interception with 28 seconds remaining. Ferraro added a 30-yard touchdown catch and a 86-yard kickoff return. Kaiden Lewis had 18 carries for 112 yards and a touchdown, as well as a two point conversion run which tied the game at 28. Lewis added seven tackles and an interception on defense. Vitale finished the game 8-of-13 for 158 yards and two touchdowns. George Trimigliozzi and Dominick Albertelli each had eight tackles. Kaeden West finished the game for Comsewogue with 190 yards rushing, 120 yards passing and three total touchdowns.
