North Babylon 75, Smithtown West 49: Nathaniel Griffith set the all-time Long Island single-game rushing record with 38 carries for 489 yards and seven touchdowns to lead North Babylon (2-2) in Suffolk II. The previous record of 485 yards was set by Davien Kuinlan of Plainedge in the 2015 Nassau Conference III final. "I've been coaching here for almost 30 years and have seen a lot of great performances and this was a testament to Nathaniel's character and courage to play through the dislocated shoulder injury he re-aggravated last week," North Babylon coach John Rowland said. "And the offensive line was great." North Babylon also set the program record for points scored in a single game. "It was a great team accomplishment," Rowland said. "Credit to the whole team and the offensive line and backs blocking for them." Joel Lomax added 15 carries for 197 yards, as the Bulldogs rushed for a total of 703 yards. Smithtown West quarterback Brayden Stahl completed 29 of 45 passes for 462 yards and seven touchdowns.
