North Shore 16, Malverne 0: Nicholas La Rosa's 50-yard touchdown run, set up by a fumble forced by Patrick Godfrey and recovered by Garret Gates, broke the scoreless tie with 26 seconds left in the first quarter of Nassau IV. La Rosa forced a fumble in the second quarter that set up Peter Liotta's 6-yard touchdown run. Athanasios Alafogiannis blocked a punt in the third quarter that went out of the end zone for a safety. North Shore (2-0) recovered four fumbles and James Toner had an interception.
