Hauppauge 22, Amityville 21: Tom Balcom hit Dom Parisi on a straight fade on a fourth-down, 36-yard TD pass and, after an Amityville offsides, Marcus Bisono punched in the two-point conversion on a run off left tackle to lead Hauppauge (1-0) in Suffolk III. Anthony Andersen's 45-yard catch facilitated the winning drive, but Hauppauge was stuffed three times to force the fourth-and-8. Amityville had previously taken a fourth-quarter lead on Brenden Paula's 66-yard kickoff return, followed by Gary Looney's two-point conversion catch. Balcom was 8-for-14 for 158 yards and two TDs, while Bisono rushed 125 yards on 20 carries for a touchdown. Andersen had four catches for 104 yards. Linebackers Steven Holder had four solo tackles and eight assists, Dominic Mark had six solos and four assists and Ricky Panciroli had six solo and three assists.
