Whitman 42, Floyd 7: Nicholas Bottoni threw for 205 yards and three touchdowns to lead No. 1 Whitman over No. 2 Floyd in the Suffolk I championship game. Bottoni connected with Tyriek Mays-Mckoy for a 33-yard touchdown in the first quarter and a 46-yard score in the third quarter. Mays-Mckoy finished with seven receptions for 171 yards. AJ Evans rushed for 81 yards and three touchdowns. This is the first Suffolk title for the Wildcats since 1984. Whitman (11-0) will face Massapequa (10-1) on Friday at 12 p.m. in the Long Island Class I championship.
