Lindenhurst 35, Connetquot 13: Jake Trovato had 191 yards and three touchdowns to lead No. 1 Lindenhurst over No. 8 Connetquot in the Suffolk II quarterfinals. Trovato scored two touchdowns in the third quarter, one on a 46-yard run and the other on an 18-yard run to give the Bulldogs a 21-13 lead. Dom Artale had 74 yards on five carries. Orrik Blaise had 54 yards and a touchdown on the ground. The Bulldogs rushed for 343 yards and scored 28 unanswered points. Joe DeGregorio led the defense with 12 tackles and a sack. Chris Carson had 10 tackles and an interception. Lindenhurst (8-1) will host a semi-final game at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 12th. Connetquot finishes 4-5.
