Whitman 48, Riverhead 0: Nicholas Bottoni completed 7 of 7 passes for 210 yards and three touchdowns to lead No. 1 Whitman over No. 8 Riverhead in a Suffolk I quarterfinal. Mikey Phillips caught two passes for 62 yards and two touchdowns, AJ Evans had 78 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries and JD Harrison added 72 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Jacob Somer had eight tackles, including three for a loss and Diego Romero had four tackles for a loss and forced a fumble. Whitman (9-0) scored on its first five possessions in the first quarter. The Wildcats will play Ward Melville in a semifinal.
