Whitman 34, Commack 14: Nicholas Bottoni threw for 305 yards and three touchdowns on 13-of-20 passing in Suffolk I Saturday. Brandon Ivy made seven catches for 176 yards and two touchdowns. Tyriek Mays-Mckoy had four catches for 93 yards and a touchdown. His 31-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter gave Whitman a 7-0 lead after an extra point. Whitman opened up a 27-7 lead after three quarters. Luke Kannavos made 11 tacks and had two sacks to lead Whitman (7-0). Commack is 5-2.
