Long Island Lutheran 28, Greenwich Country Day School 3: Anthony Valdez rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries in the Metropolitan Independent Football League Saturday. His 6-yard touchdown in the third quarter gave LuHi a 20-0 lead. Trey Leandre rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Justin Reshard made four catches for 56 yards and returned an interception 59-yards for a touchdown. Shaun Ayers, Zion Tracy, and Robert Barrerra all had sacks and Matt Caputo recovered a fumble for LuHi (4-1).
