Connetquot 29, West Babylon 26: Tyler McCarthy's three-yard touchdown run with one minute left in the game capped an eight-play, 70-yard drive and gave Connetquot a 27-24 lead in Suffolk Division II Friday night. Michael Ross' two-point conversion pass to Tommy Malvagno extended the lead to 29-24. Brian Marra intercepted a West Babylon Hail Mary at the 1-yard line with one second left in the game to ice the win. Ross threw for 278 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions on 26-of-34 passing. He also threw two two-point conversion passes. Nick LaMantia made seven receptions for 130 yards and a touchdown. Devin Shapiro made nine receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown and had an interception on defense. Billy Walker had three sacks, including a key one on the final West Babylon drive. Stephen Bubier made 12 tackles, including one for a loss and a sack and Matt Gomez made nine tackles, including three for a loss for Connetquot (2-2). West Babylon is 2-2.
