Whitman 34, Sachem North 14: Nicholas Bottoni completed 20 of 24 passes for 262 yards and three touchdowns and Brandon Ivy had six receptions for 106 yards and two touchdowns to lead Whitman (2-0) in Suffolk I. Jacob Somer had a strip-sack near the end of the second quarter and recovered the fumble to set up Tyriek Mays-Mckoy's 10-yard touchdown run to put Whitman up 21-0 going in halftime. AJ Evans had 115 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries and Jonathan Maldanado had 73 yards on seven carries. Mays-Mckoy had four catches for 47 yards and an interception. Luke Kannavos led the defense with eight tackles and a sack.
