HIGHLIGHTS
Oceanside jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter with a touchdown pass from Tariek Harris to Morgan McCarthy and a 38-yd field goal from Mike Palmiotto. Massapequa would fight back to take a 14-10 lead at halftime from a 1-yd touchdown run from Nick Capuana and a 15-yd touchdown pass from Matt Caracappa to Craig Berge. Oceanside responded with 10 straight points, but Massapequa's Paul Dilena gave the Chiefs back the lead in the fourth quarter with a 1-yd TD run. Matt Caracappa's second TD pass to Craig Berge sealed the deal as the No. 3 Massapequa topped No. 2 Oceanside, 28-20, at Hofstra University. They will face No. 1 Farmingdale in the county final on Saturday, November 23 at 4pm at Hofstra University.
