Calhoun 27, Herricks 20: Joey Goodman scored his third touchdown on a 12-yard run in the second overtime to lead Calhoun in Nassau Conference II. Pete Thomann deflected a Herricks pass on fourth-and 9 on the Highlanders second overtime possession to seal the win for the Colts (3-1). Ryan Oommen scored on a 5-yard run in the first overtime to give Herricks (1-3) a 20-13 lead. Calhoun answered with 3-yard run by Josh Bailey to tie the score at 20. The Colts trailed 13-0 with 7:15 left in the fourth quarter. Following a Goodman 1-yard TD run to bring Calhoun within a score, the Colts earned a stop on defense. On the ensuing drive, Matt Edouard took a screen pass 50 yards down the field that set up a Goodman 1-yard quarterback sneak to tie the game at 13 and force overtime. Aaron Cho caught two touchdown passes from Thomas Napolitano in the loss.
