Locust Valley 22, Lawrence 20: Christian Garcia ran in a 2-yard touchdown on fourth-and-goal as time expired to cap off a 65-yard drive spanning six minutes to give Locust Valley a 22-20 victory over Lawrence in Nassau Conference IV. Mike McGlone made a 25-yard field goal with nine minutes remaining in the fourth quarter to give Locust Valley a 16-14 lead but Lawrence's Kody Kirchner ran a 48-yard touchdown about a minute later to give Lawrence a 20-16 lead. Nick Amendolora rushed for 190 yards on 24 carries Sean Roberts had 27 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries in the win. Christian DeBellis had eight tackles, including two for a loss, and a forced fumble and coach Casey Neilly credited the Locust Valley offensive line in the win. Locust Valley improved to 2-5 and Lawrence fell to 1-6.
