Mineola 36, Valley Stream South 21: Tommy Renner caught a 60-yard touchdown pass from Jack McCormack and added TD runs of 67 and 5 yards to lead Mineola (2-5) in Nassau III. Renner rushed for 107 yards and two scores on seven carries and caught three passes for 72 yards and a score. He also had an interception on defense. Pete Irish caught a 40-yard TD pass from McCormack in the first half. Cle-Andre Stewart ran for three scores for Valley Stream South (1-6).
