East Rockaway 43, Oyster Bay 18: John Giannotti returned the opening kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown in East Rockaway's win in Nassau Conference IV. Giannotti rushed for 130 yards and a 54-yard touchdown run on 11 carries. He also had a successful two-point conversion run on his second score. Tyler Hyland found Tyler Gutierrez on a 26-yard TD pass to end the first half and gave the Rocks a 29-6 lead. Alex Fasso intercepted a pass and returned it 15 yards for a score on the last play of the third quarter. Jack Mistretta, Andrew Sobel and Joseph Bruzzo each recorded a sack. Mistretta and Bruzzo each rushed for touchdowns for East Rockaway (4-3). Oyster Bay fell to 2-5.
