Floral Park 21, Lynbrook 17: Slot receiver Alex Cerrone found a wide-open Brian Moriarty, who ran a stop-and-go, on a wide receiver reverse pass-play for a 68-yard touchdown with 6:55 left in the fourth to lead No. 6 Floral Park over No. 3 Lynbrook in a Conference III quarterfinal. Floral Park (6-3). "That was the first time we ran that play all year," coach Michael Spina said. "We waited until the perfect time." The winning drive was set up by Brian Barry''s interception on the Floral Park 10-yard line. Lynbrook turned the ball over on downs with 2:01 left. Josh Sanders ran for 71 yards, including a 13-yard TD in the third to put Floral Park within three points. Floral Park''s third quarter scoring drive was set up by Moriarty''s interception on the Lynbrook 40. Robert Sjoberg led Floral Park with 14 tackles at inside linebacker, and Connor Horan added 12 tackles at middle linebacker.
