Bakail Talmadge had six receptions for 162 yards and touchdowns of 60, 21 and 18 yards, respectively. Xavier Cooper had 12 carries for 125 yards. Jaliel McFadden had five tackles and one sack, and Xavier Cooper and Sendell Garrett each had seven tackles for Roosevelt which pitched a shutout in the second half. Roosevelt led 14-12 at the half. Roosevelt scored with 4:38 left in the third quarter when Gayle hit Talmadge with a 21-yard scoring pass. Roosevelt capped it off with another Gayle-to-Talmadge connection -- this one for 18 yards -- with 6:52 left in the game.
