HIGHLIGHTS
Mepham 49, Roslyn 21: Nick Honerkamp threw for 122 yards and two touchdowns and added another score on the ground to lead Mepham in Nassau Conference II. Dylan Dunn had 111 yards receiving and two touchdowns and Sofia LaSpina added three catches for 45 yards and a score. She is the first female to score a touchdown in Long Island history, according to Newsday records. Dominick Novello had 102 yards rushing and a TD and Gabe Terra had 84 yards rushing. Steven Mulqueen and Dean Holtzman both had interceptions for the Pirates (2-0). Roslyn sophomore Michael Wheat completed 20 of 37 passes for 320 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 41 yards. Dylan Goodman had seven receptions for 189 yards and three touchdowns in the loss. Lance Maiberg had three tackles, one forced fumble and kicked a 40-yard field goal for Roslyn.
