Glen Cove 28, Bethpage 7: David Perkins scored on a 1-yard run with three minutes left in the first quarter to give No. 5 Glen Cove (5-4) a 14-0 lead in a Nassau III quarterfinal. Ryan Perkins ran for 70 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries and Billy Niece ran for 42 yards and an 8-yard run early the third to extend the lead to 22-7. Niece's score was set by an Alex Aguillar interception. Aguillar had a 4-yard touchdown run in the fourth, while Joshua Martin and Manny Sican each had an interception for Glen Cove, which plays No. 2 Lawrence in a Nassau III semifinal on Saturday at Hofstra.
