North Shore 35, West Hempstead 20: Peter Liotta had a 69-yard punt return with 2:31 remaining in the 3rd quarter to give the Vikings a 35-6 lead in their Nassau IV season opener. Nick Livoti rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries and Daniel Quigley completed 3 for 4 passes for 63 yards and rushed for 60 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Nick La Rosa rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Mark Russo and Michael Granelli were both in on 11 tackles.
