Connetquot 21, Smithtown West 14: Nick LaMantia had 11 receptions for 157 yards and two touchdowns for Connetquot (1-0) in Suffolk II. His first 1-yard touchdown in the second quarter put Connetquot ahead 12-7. His 83-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, proved to be the game-winner. Michael Ross completed 27 passes for 343 yards and three touchdowns. Devin Shapiro had five receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown. He also had two interceptions on defense. Matt Gomez had two sacks, two tackles for loss, and a forced fumble.
