HIGHLIGHTS
East Islip 54, Islip 14: Leo Lopez made his presence known from the opening kickoff, and didn't slow down from there for East Islip. He returned the opening kick 91 yards for a touchdown and rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. Lopez also had two interceptions in the Suffolk III victory. Derek Burrell added 119 yards on eight carries and two touchdowns and David Reynolds added 156 yards on and a score on nine carries. Ryan Bayer had 11 tackles and East Islip rushed for 423 yards as a team. Kevin Smith made field goals of 39 and 23 yards and all four of his PATs.
