Chaminade 44, Christ the King 6: Christian Alacqua rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries and two receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown to lead Chaminade in their CHSAA season opener. Matthew Dieguez rushed for 42 yards and a touchdown on six carries and Thomas Steuber rushed for 32 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries. Thomas Kemp led the defense with eight tackles, a sack and a fumble while Anthony Scala had six tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery.
