HIGHLIGHTS
North Shore, the top-seeded team in Nassau IV, rolled up over 200 rushing yards as it defeated host Clarke in the season opener for both teams. Nick La Rosa rushed for 55 yards and a pair of 12-yard touchdowns, Dan Quigley ran for 61 yards and a 1-yard score and Mark Russo had a 5-yard TD jaunt for North Shore (1-0). Nick Livoti led all Vikings rushers with 85 yards on the ground. Nicholas Giordano rushed for a touchdown and threw a two-point conversion for the Rams (0-1).
