Rocky Point 33, Deer Park 26: In the Suffolk III opener for both teams, Rocky Point had five plays of 45 yards or more that went for touchdowns. Quarterback/safety Cody Miller had a 48-yard touchdown run, an 87-yard interception return for a touchdown and a 65-yard touchdown pass to Trevor Lamoureaux. He also passed to Lamoureaux for a two-point conversion. A.J. Walker added a 45-yard TD run and Liam Reisinger had 46-yard interception return for a touchdown for for the Eagles. Logan Rhodes threw for three touchdowns and ran for a fourth, but was picked off three times - two that were returned for touchdowns.
