MacArthur 28, South Side 7: Ryan Isom rushed for 223 yards and two touchdowns on 33 carries in MacArthur's Nassau II semifinal win over South Side Friday. It is the third game this season that Isom has eclipsed 200 yards. He ran for 67 yards on eight carries on the opening drive, capping it off with a 5-yard touchdown to give the Generals a 6-0 lead. Isom's 10 yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter gave MacArthur a 13-0 lead. Ryan Muller capped the Generals third scoring drive of the first half with a 2-yard quarterback sneak with :37 seconds left, increasing the lead to 20-7. Muller also threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Matt Papach in the third quarter. Joe Forchelli had an interception and Matt Cacace made a sack for MacArthur (6-1). They will play Garden City next weekend for the Nassau II title. South Side is 3-3.
