Westhampton 27, East Islip 21: Westhampton scored the final 20 points of the game in a come-from-behind victory over East Islip in a Suffolk III semifinal. Jackson Hulse scored two rushing touchdowns, including a 1-yard score on a fourth-and-goal with 1:20 left in the game to give Westhampton a 25-21 lead. Hulse's two-point conversion pass to Owen Spizuoco increased the lead. Hulse also scored a 4-yard touchdown and kicked the extra point in the second quarter to tie the score at 7. Two big fourth quarter defensive plays keyed the Westhampton comeback Terrall Faines blocked an East Islip punt that led to a one-yard Christian Capuano touchdown that cut the East Islip lead to 21-19 and Nick Waszkelewicz intercepted an East Islip pass with 5:00 left. Aidan Cassara rushed for 71 yards on 11 carries. Westhampton (5-1) will face the winner of Sayville/Hauppauge in the finals.
