Sachem North 16, Commack 7: Quarterback Chris Kelly threw two touchdown passes in the third quarter and Chris Escalante added a 29-yard field goal later in the third, as Sachem North scored 16 unanswered second half points in its Suffolk II win. Following Kelly's 55-yard touchdown pass to Cameron Lee, Sachem North (3-0) was sparked by a Lee forced fumble. The turnover led to a 16-yard touchdown pass from Kelly to Michael Hefferman on the ensuing drive and gave Sachem North a 13-7 lead. Kelly completed 5 of 8 passes for 86 yards and two touchdowns and Lee had 157 all-purpose yards (86 rushing, 57 receiving). John Hall, who leads Suffolk with four interceptions, according to coach Dave Caputo, made an interception on the 1-yard line with 1:54 left to help hold the Cougars scoreless in the second half.
