Sachem North 24, Ward Melville 8: Cameron Lee had 15 carries for 228 yards and a touchdown to lead Sachem North in a Suffolk II opener. Lee recorded the 10th-most yards in a single game in Sachem North history, and the most since Alezandro Aponte's 302-yard performance in 2017, according to coach Dave Caputo. Shane Borsari's 11-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter opened the scoring. Lee's 65-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter extended Sachem's lead to 17-0. Borsari, who had six carries for 46 yards, tacked on a 31-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth to widen the lead to 24-0. Lee, John Hall and James Reiderer each came up with an interception for Sachem.
