West Islip 22, Smithtown West 20: Joe Costantino rushed for 207 yards and two touchdowns to lead West Islip in its Suffolk IV opener. Ryan Behrens rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown. The West Islip defense had a goaline stand on the two yard line with six minutes left in the fourth quarter to preserve the win. Nolan Walters had eight tackles and a sack and Sal Calderone had five tackles and a sack. Chase Cassagnau added six tackles and a sack.
