Carey 42, MacArthur 6: Senior quarterback Ray Catapano ran for a career-high 154 yards and two rushing touchdowns on nine carries and completed 10 of 16 passes for 124 yards and three scores to lead Carey in Nassau II. Erick Vilchez returned an interception 23 yards on the game's first play to give Carey a 7-0 lead. MacArthur answered as Jimmy Kelleher hit Tom McAndrew on a 55-yard scoring play, cutting Carey's lead to 7-6. Carey scored 35 unanswered over the final three quarters, highlighted by scoring runs of 4 and 56 by Catapano. Conor Colasurdo had 11 tackles, Trayvan Tapage had nine stops, Luke Spano had seven tackles an interception and Nick Conte had eight stops, an interception and a forced fumble for Carey (8-0), which finished unbeaten in the regular season for the second time in four years. MacArthur dropped to 4-4.
