North Shore 26, Wantagh 12: Phil La Rosa had 112 yards rushing including a fourth-quarter TD run from 1 yard out for North Shore (2-0) in Nassau IV. He added a 2-yard TD run in the first quarter. Quarterback Dan Quigley was 6 of 7 passing for 89 yards and added a pair of rushing scores in the win. David Berlin had two interceptions in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. Sophomore Reece Ramos led the Vikings on defense with a sack and 5 tackles. He and Lorenzo Recine were the anchors of the offensive line. Wantagh is 1-1.
