East Meadow 30, Herricks 0: James Saragossi completed 5 of 8 passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns to lead East Meadow in a Nassau I opener. Shane McIntyre had all five receptions, and hauled in a touchdown pass of 52 yards in the first quarter to extend the lead to 12-0, and another in the fourth quarter to put the Jets ahead 24-0. Billy Christoforatos, who opened the scoring with a 24-yard touchdown run in the first, also had four tackles, two for loss, a sack and a fumble recovery.
