Carle Place/Wheatley 21, Clarke 19: Lucas Golon had 106 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries to lead Carle Place/Wheatley (4-4) in Nassau IV. Golon also had 3 receptions for 31 yards and recovered a fumble. Golon scored on consecutive drives in the second quarter to put Carle Place ahead 14-7 and Luis Costa completed the 21-point run with an interception for a touchdown. Costa also had an interception in the end zone with 2:19 remaining and the Carle Place/Wheatley defense held Clarke at bay on its final drive. Clarke falls to 4-4.
