Tyler Beckelin had 11 solo tackles and a strip sack that he returned 66-yards in the first quarter. The Island Trees defense held West Hempstead shut out West Hempstead in the second half and turned them over on downs three times, the final time coming with 1:30 remaining in the game and the ball on the Island Trees 13-yard line.
